The place is very relaxing and filled with nice art and paintings. The food was delicious and tasted healthy. The employees were all very nice and helpful. If it wasn't for me trying to get my health together I would have had some alcohol and dessert. I'll definitely be coming back to this great place.

**REVIEW ONLY FOR PEKING DUCK** The ambience is charming, with a modernized take on Chinese food. The interior is clean and stylish, tucked away in a little corner of New York. We came for a late lunch and were the only guests, so it was nice and quiet. The peking duck did take some time to come out, and instead of the traditional buns, they served the duck with thin, tortilla-like steamed wraps. It was an interesting twist on a classic dish. Overall, a pleasant spot with a modern vibe.

Came back to Tang by Mr Sun on a Friday evening for dinner. They had a 1 ballon, and this restaurant has been open for 1 year! Hope it will stay in business for a long time to come! We really love their Peking duck, it is definitely one of the best we've had. The skin is so crispy and perfectly cut. The pancake is very thin and perfect. I don't like the wraps to be thick, I've been to other restaurants and the wraps are bun-like, terrible! Can't even taste the duck at that point! This time we also tried their Maryland crab cake, which was divine! Yes the pieces when they came out were small (small bite size) however they redeemed themselves when the inside was entirely of crab! I've had crab cakes where they were large but full of breading. But this wasn't the case at all! I was impressed and it was served with a tangy mustard sauce. We also ordered the string beans, which was a nice portion. Overall we love coming to Tang!

This is a very special Chinese restaurant, the white tablecloth kind. The food is wonderful, the service, extraordinary, and the ambience is just beautiful. I have been there a couple of times and it has been consistently good. I would highly recommend it & cannot wait to go back!!

Excellent food. Unusually good menu items. Order every appetizer!! I was sad that they didn't deliver to 90th and Park.

WOW, wow, wow. This is probably one of the most impressive restaurants I've ever been to! From the decor, to the food, to the staff, there's literally not one bad thing I can say about this place. I came here with my friend and we both thoroughly enjoyed this place. For an appetizer we ordered the shrimp balls, which came out in a beautiful smokey display. We also had the truffle mushroom pancakes which were delicious. For my main meal I had the king Pao chicken which was great. I definitely didn't have enough room for dessert, but I couldn't pass up an opportunity to try one of their amazing desserts. I got the red lantern, which was an amazing cheesecake with strawberry and raspberry. I am not a sweets person, but this definitely hit the spot! I will definitely be coming back here. This upscale and unique Chinese restaurant is definitely a gem!

I enjoyed the rock shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, and glazed cod from Tang by Mr. Sun. Ambiance and service were both good. My only piece of constructive criticism would be to sit tables closer to the entrance as when you walk by it currently gives the vibe that the restaurant is closed or that nobody is eating there.

As an UES resident we are getting quite spoiled with new spots popping up, including Tang. The food is a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. I love when dishes are inviting you in before a bite. The colorful and abundant presentations are fabulous. And then, the flavors are delicious. You can't go wrong with here - everything we chose came with its own dynamism and wasn't just a retweet of flavors dish to dish. The truffle pancake was one of our favs. Loved the variety of soup dumplings to get your mouth on a little flavor journey. The prawns in passion fruit sauce - sensational. And a kung pao chicken that celebrates a classic so well. Absolutely a winner! Great service to boot and make you feel welcome and guide you through the menu. Can't wait to come back!

Came here for Christmas Eve dinner and overall the food was delicious and service very warm and friendly. We shared a huge amount of food, but standouts were: -all the soups! Wonton, crab chowder and creamy mushroom were all flavorful and hit the spot on a cold night -yuzu honey ribs appetizer -- sooo yummy and meaty, with five sizable ribs to the order -crispy hot and sour beef -- again delicious sauce, and a little heat without being TOO hot -passion fruit tiger prawns with walnuts - a really interesting twist on the usual classic dish, with the tangy fruity sauce and perfectly cooked, huge shrimps We also had Peking duck -- good tho perhaps presented a little less ceremoniously than usual -- Beijing chicken, bacon house fried rice, crab udon, and rock shrimp appetizer. All good for sure though perhaps not the total standouts. Definitely have to note that it is quite pricey, even for "fancy" Chinese in the city goes -- though at least for the price portions are quite shareable. The room can also get quite noisy when full, as it was on the busy night we were there. But overall, would come back for perhaps a less huge meal, ha. Would love to come back and try more seafood dishes as the prawns were so good -- and who can resist something called "glorious glazed cod?" :)
